The symbol ॐ is a word in Sanskrit that represents Om. Om or aum (pronounced ah-uu-mm) is a sacred sound taught by ancient philosophers to be the sound of the universe.
According to Patañjali in the Yoga Sutras, Om is the seed from which all other sounds and words come. It is the unlimited or eternal sound that encompasses all other sounds within it.
Three parts make up the word Om.
The first part of om is the “A,” pronounced "ah."
The second part is the “U” or "oo". It is the natural continuation of the "ah."
The third part is the “M”. Made by sealing the lips and humming.
According to the Vedas, the silence after the “M” is the Anahata Nada or “pure silence.”

In the Autumn of 2015, I took my first yoga class at Utah Valley University. My hope was that the class would help increase my flexibility.
The class that day was an Ashtanga class. Considered to be the original power yoga.
The experience I got from that class inspired me to come back every day that week. Beyond flexibility, the feeling of relaxation I experienced was completely foreign to me.
In 2018, I got the opportunity to get my 200-hour yoga teacher training from Salt Lake Power Yoga. I went on to teach for three years and still continue to share my insights with others.
What upsets you is your resistance to your role in this life. The remedy for this is acceptance.
Making excuses is only going to hinder you from making meaningful changes.
It's easy to remain the same because most people don't want you to change. Most people want to hold on to their belief in constants.
It's not easy to take responsibility for yourself, but it's necessary.
It may not be your fault, but if it upsets you, it is your responsibility to take action.
All the steps are necessary and there are no shortcuts.
The steps are the important part, not the outcome.
Do your best and accept that others are doing their best. Recognize that we are all blind to something.
Share in your gifts and play into the joy of each other's lives.
